About Gogle!

Gogle! started in 2025 as a personal project driven by pure nostalgia. Its creator, a fan of retro web aesthetics and early internet humor, wanted to bring back the charm of late '90s web design, when every site had blinking text, broken GIFs, and links that went nowhere.

Originally called “Gogle! Milenium Edition Free software+”, it began as a parody of Google 1998, complete with pixelated logos, fake search results, and a virus warning that doesn’t actually do anything (we think).

The goal was simple: have fun, make people smile, and revive the lost art of terrible-but-beautiful web design. Later versions even referenced Goggle.com — a real site that confused millions back in the early 2000s!

This site was created using basic HTML and pure enthusiasm, without any frameworks or AI—except maybe for some very questionable decisions powered by caffeine and nostalgia.

If you remember the sound of dial-up internet, miss MSN Messenger, or ever clicked on a “You are our 1,000,000th visitor!” ad — this site is for you.
